Who I am

Hi, I’m Kate. I’m so glad you’ve found your way to my website today. I am a transformative coach, working with people who feel they are ready for change in their lives, work or relationships - or all of these.

I believe that we should all be living as joyfully as possible. Life is too short and too precious to waste it feeling unnecessarily stuck, lost, unfulfilled and unhappy. Of course, sadness will come into every life, difficult things happen and we often can’t control our circumstances. But we can improve our lives by understanding ourselves and our patterns, seeing our blockers for what they are and thinking through and taking action to get ourselves onto the best path for us.

One of the central tenets of coaching is that our clients are creative, resourceful and whole - you do not need fixing. What you might need is help to create the right environment to enable you to do your best thinking. I partner with my clients to enable them to think deeply, examine their patterns, reflect, articulate what they want and work out how to get there.

I am originally from Ireland, and moved to the UK in 2003. I spent 18 years working for the UK Civil Service, mostly at HM Treasury. I have lived in Ireland, the UK, Kosovo, Paris, Azerbaijan, New York and am now based in Amman, Jordan, with my husband who is a UK Diplomat and my children, who at the time of writing are 12 and 9. In my free time I love sewing and ceramics, yoga and sea-swimming.

Coaching has been transformative in my life - and I love nothing more than seeing clients achieve similar moments of clarity and transformation.
